Conversely, the dessert, though tasty, wasn’t of similar size, thus was easy to polish off, but then I didn't want any leftovers! More importantly, there was a long lag time between my finishing dessert and getting my bill, seemingly dependent on my server returning from some time away, such as for a break, thus I waited at least 15 minutes. Happy to have "a place," I opted for the scallops, and they were excellent, a colorful presentation of vegetables, with enough to take some home for the next day. Around the corner, past the restaurant and out of view of anyone standing at the front counter, there’s a bar with several seats…and, they serve the same menu as the main restaurant does! On my first pass by, there were no seats, but I went past by about a minute, did an about-face and returned, finding a couple of seats. Reservations are preferable, particularly if there’s a major concert event that day, which is many Saturdays, but there was an alternative for this diner, who didn't figure on that. Be sure to ask a staff member for directions, as the signage in the casino is lackluster. ![]() One has to survive a meandering walk through a smoke-filled casino to reach this restaurant, but it’s worth the trip, though the smoke either was “dealt with” via the circulation system or there were fewer smokers that particular evening. ![]()
